MayKef (Malaysian Kefir) is a drink start-up founded in 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with the goal of bringing nourishment to the local community through healthy, probiotic-rich products.
We believe in nourishing our bodies naturally through eating whole and fermented foods. Fermented foods contain natural probiotics, the “good bacteria” that is beneficial to gut health and our overall immune system.

THE MayKef STORY
The MayKef story began making Kefir at home. The cultured dairy drink had been popular in Eastern Europe for centuries, but we was determined to share this delicious health secret.
Since its humble homemade beginnings many years ago, MayKef has now grown into the largest producer of Kefir in Malaysia and has brought the delicious taste and probiotic health benefits of Kefir to a whole new generation.
MayKef has also innovated several new ideas in the dairy industry by introducing breakthrough products such as Cow Milk Kefir and Coconut Milk Kefir.
Though many things have changed, our commitment to producing the highest quality cultured drinks remains the same. With dedication and innovation, the MayKef family looks forward to building on our tradition of healthy and delicious living for many years to come.
